What We Do
Barndo Bros creates a clear path to building your barndominium with premium custom plan services, engineered custom shell kits, and certified, vetted build partners ready to build in your area.
We bring the right team together and simplify the entire process — from dirt to done.
“How much does it cost?” is a question we get a lot. We start with a free 10-minute call, where we help you understand an early estimate based on the size of the barndominium you want to build. From there, you can move into custom plans, either starting from one of our designs or creating something entirely from scratch.
Once you have your initial barndominium plans, you’ll have a build consultation with our team to develop a second estimate — a more detailed summary of your overall project. We’ll also coordinate a site visit to your property to evaluate site preparation costs.
These services — including preparing a bank-ready bid — are included with our custom plan services. If you already have plans and a general understanding of costs, you can instead move forward by paying an activation fee, allowing Barndo Bros to begin coordinating with our build partners, complete your site evaluation, guide selections, and prepare your entire project for construction.
If you choose a full turnkey build, you’ll then sign a construction contract for the remainder of the project, with a deposit typically required at that stage.

Unbeatable Custom Design Services!
Begin with a call with our designer and your initial design deposit of $2,500. This is where your vision takes shape. While you can start from scratch, we recommend starting with one of our 8 plans, or a plan idea you've picked from other sources!
Step 1: Intial Video Call with Our Designer
We’ll present your initial design during a dedicated design video call. You’ll have the opportunity to share feedback and request changes.
Step 2: Design Reveal & Updates
You may make up to three revisions to perfect your plans. Once finalized, the remaining $2,500 balance is due. (You'll then receive your plans packet and bids for shell/erection & full turnkey build.
Step 3: Refine & Finalize
Your Custom Plan Bid-Ready Package Includes:
1. Up to 3 Design Calls + 3 Revisions
2. Full Preliminary Plan Set (Digital + Printed)
3. 3D Renderings of your layout for clear visualization
4. Option to Upgrade to Engineered, Stamped Plans ($3500)

●Good / Better / Best build path discussion
Perfect for clients who want experienced insight before moving into full planning or activation.
3. Custom Plans
$5,000 Total
($2,500 to start · $2,500 upon completion)

4. Activation Services $2,500

If you already have plans, Activation Services allow Barndo Bros to step in with our build partner
and coordinate your project toward construction.

5. Custom Engineered Shell Kits

Options may include:

Structural engineering is typically included.
Shell kits can be:
●Delivered only
●Erected
●Or integrated into a turnkey build

If you choose to move forward with construction, you will:
